I have the honour to forward for your

information the accompanying statement of arms and

ammunition which have passed through this Colony in

transit to China during the first half of the

present year.

The bulk of the shipments were destined

for the Southern provinces of Kwangtung and Fukien,

the former greatly predominating.

2.

The position of this Colony in relation

to shipments of this nature in transit through its

waters is fully set out in my Confidential despatch

of the 17th May, 1933.
